A Qualitative and Quantitative Research Consultant with Researchlime Ltd with over 10 years experience on the field. I assist clients in designing and implementing research assignments for clients across several sectors. My firm specializes in facilitating field data collection, trainings, respondents’ recruitments and reporting using latest data oriented technologies and an updated network of over 100 experienced and in training field researchers in all the 16 regions of Ghana. We leverage on our understanding of the Ghanaian context (languages, cultural understanding, access to remote communities, network of databases etc.) to serve clients on projects. Barnabas has a degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Ghana, a post-graduated diploma in software development from Meltwater Entrepreneurship School of Technology and specialized in the use of software in conducting marking research studies and in handling research data.
Barnabas is the Founder and CEO of Researchlime Ltd. As a young Software Entrepreneur, his passion for business started in the University of Ghana. His startup ideas gained him a two year’s immediate Scholarship after University to pursue his passion in software and Entrepreneurship development in a post-graduate diploma in software development, entrepreneurship and start-up management with a Nowegien Software Incubator/School in Ghana called Meltwater Entrepreneurship School of Technology (MEST).
After which he worked briefly and then started his company 2014. In January 2016 Barnabas joined the Young Experts Programme (YEP), a programme sponsored by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Netherlands Water Partners (NWP) as a liaison for companies in Netherlands interested in doing business in Ghana. This international programme exposed him to work with reputable organizations such as the NWP (Netherlands Water Partnership), AKVO, VIA Water, NABC, GNBCC, most of which works closely with the Dutch Embassy in Accra. As a liason in NWP (www.nwp.nl) in Ghana, he connects with over 100 companies in the Netherlands that seek to do businesses in Ghana on water related projects. He currently holds a permanent consultancy role with Ghana Netherlands Business and Cultural Council (GNBCC) which is the Dutch Chamber of Commerce with over 100 Dutch-Ghanaian Companies in Ghana. This roles gives him access to major companies in Ghana and Europe. Before the GNBCC/YEP programme, Barnabas has been working as a sub-consultant with Skyfox-Ghana, Kinaj Consulting and a number of water sector players in the areas of Access to Safe drinking Water, Sanitation, WASH in Schools, and Sustainability Studies mostly assisting these organization on the field with gathering field data using mobile devices and modern technologies.
