Elliot Richard Abra is a WASH Expert / Trainer and Monitoring and Evaluation Professional with over 8 years of field working experience. As a young water expert, Barnabas worked with several international and local reputable organizations and consultancy firms such as DST (Development Systems Technology-Sierra Leone; where trained field teams on community based WASH issues and developed a WASH training manual), CRS (Catholic Relief Services, where he was the WASH Specialist and ensured that all schools that benefited from ISHINE project where certified as WASH friendly schools by the Regional Certification Team), and SkyFox Limited where he represented the consultancy firm as an independent verifying agent of the GAMA Project which is currently ongoing in Accra. Also he is currently an Associate Facilitator at Rainbow Consult, a consultancy firm that provides corporate training programs for local and international institution. He is currently the Monitoring and Evaluation Lead at Safe Water Network, an international NGO that provides small water enterprise solutions to communities without access to potable drinking water. Areas of interest and expertise includes facilitation on WASH related matters such as hygiene and behaviour change, WASH in Schools, environmental sanitation and safety, designing data collection and evaluation programs.
